Scheduling a Consultation
Consultations are by appointment only. To request a consultation with the Law Offices of Angela Rodriguez, please complete the consultation request form below or call the office for assistance with scheduling.
If you need help scheduling, our staff may assist you with completing the consultation request form. Staff cannot provide legal advice, evaluate your case, quote legal fees, or answer questions about whether the firm can accept representation. Those questions are addressed during the consultation with Attorney Angela Rodriguez.
Consultation Options
Consultations may be available by video call or in person, depending on scheduling availability and the type of matter. Virtual and telephone consultations are offered to help reduce travel time and provide flexibility for clients with work, family, transportation, or scheduling concerns.
If you choose an in-person consultation, please confirm before booking that you are willing and able to travel to the office location. If you prefer not to travel, please select the video call consultation option when scheduling.
What to Expect
- Consultations are conducted directly with Attorney Angela Rodriguez-Canales, not a paralegal or non-attorney staff member.
- The consultation fee is $200.
- The consultation fee is non-refundable once the appointment is scheduled and confirmed.
- If you retain the firm for the same matter within 7 days of the consultation, the consultation fee may be credited toward your legal fees.
- All required fields on the consultation request form must be completed before the appointment can be confirmed.
- After your consultation is scheduled, you may receive an additional questionnaire based on the type of matter. To make the most of our time together, we ask that you complete the questionnaire thoroughly and truthfully before the consultation so the attorney can focus on reviewing your legal options and providing guidance during the appointment.
- If there are documents you want reviewed during the consultation, they should be uploaded before the appointment. The attorney may not be able to review documents that are not provided in advance.
- Please be prepared to discuss the reason for your consultation, any important deadlines, and your main questions.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, the consultation may need to be rescheduled.
- The consultation is limited to the matter discussed during the appointment. Ongoing representation does not begin unless the firm agrees to accept the matter and both the client and firm sign a written legal services agreement.
- The consultation is limited to the person and matter identified in the consultation request. Separate legal matters or additional family members may require a separate consultation.
Legal Fees & Payment Plans
- Legal fees for representation are determined after the consultation and depend on the type of matter, complexity, urgency, deadlines, risk, and scope of work involved.
- Any fee quote provided after a consultation is based on the information available at that time. If important facts are not disclosed during the consultation, or if new information is later discovered, the fee quote may need to be revised.
- Payment plans are not available for all matters. When offered, payment plans are approved at the firm’s discretion and generally require a substantial initial payment and a short payment schedule.
- The consultation fee is separate from legal representation fees, but may be credited toward legal fees if the firm is retained for the same matter within 7 days of the consultation.
- Any document review requested after the consultation, or outside the scope of the scheduled consultation, may be billed separately at the attorney’s hourly rate or require a separate agreement.
